@Riot Champion designs
The Problem.
Riot has released a large amount of fragile champion designs. When I say fragile, I am referring to kits that will either be extremely broken or weak, depending on number changes and items. Champions like these are hard to balance so that's why I call them 'fragile'. Some great examples are Fiora, Jax, Kog' Maw, Graves, Tryndamere and Zed. There are a lot more examples but these are the main ones I could think of. The very kits themselves are the problem. Now I am not saying that the fragile champion kits need entire reworks, I am just saying that either they need small kit changes or changes every time the meta affects them largely (which would be a lot of work, considering Riot would have to constantly look after them). It is frustrating to both the people who play these champions and the people who play against them. I am sure nobody likes being destroyed by a Fiora, but Fiora's kit makes it where, if you take away her damage she is useless. Right now she already has a hard time against certain champions or team comps, so number nerfs to make her less obnoxious against one match up will make her complete trash in another.
My Suggestions.
My suggestions would be to over time sit down and think about what makes these champions fragile. In my opinion some of them mainly (mainly, not only) need changes to suppress their early game power. As an example, Fiora is a snowball champion that can hard-carry a game. One toxic thing about her kit is the way that she can punish players (mainly melee) for being in range of her Q. A way to solve this would be to greatly increase her Q mana cost and give a slight decrease in the cool down when she hits a vital ( _ % < 50% ) . Some kits however need larger changes. As an example, Tryndamere. He can be destroyed in some cases, but in other cases he is too much to handle. I know the favorite thing for people to say when discussing champions like Tryndamere and Yi is "Just use cc". The thing is no, using cc is effective, but its not always readily available for a team. Tryndamere's kit is pretty toxic and uninteractive. He gains free 35% crit chance for auto attacking and killing units, this doesn't really reward him for much, its just really what it is...free crit. His E and W synergize extremely well (for chasing down a target/running away) for a kit that allows him to destroy anybody he auto attacks. Finally, his ultimate. Tryndamere's ultimate is what he needs to make his kit work, otherwise no melee squishy is going to dive a back line, ignoring damage and cc on the way. The ultimate makes him immune to death for several seconds. It is an extremely powerful ability, I can see why Riot gave him this, but in a lot of circumstances this ability is over powered. An example is when dueling, he gets several seconds to auto attack you to death. So for the case of Tryndamere he needs a complete rework, either he is too powerful or too weak, which makes him unfair to both players and opponents. This pretty much sums up this post, I hope that You guys at Riot look at this and decide to work towards a balanced game.
