Who misses the old Poppy?

EDIT:Before y'all down vote more. I'm not arguing anything here, just sharing my opinion lol. New poppy is great, but not my cup of tea. You're all free to share your opinions too. I do agree that her ult was broken. The only real gripe I have with the rework is that they took a already clunky champ and made her feel clunkier. Old poppy was at least some what satisfying to play. I dont really care how strong a champ is, but I care if I'm having fun with that champ or not. Now you just spam q, try to zone people, be disruptive and just be a meaty shield. Her over all gameplay just feels unengaging now. Her abilities dont feel like they make as much of a impact now.

I miss the old poppy. She was unique and different from most champs, which I loved about her. I agree she needed changes but I feel like while the rework put her in a good spot, it took away all the things that made her. She was always that come back kid, when push came to shove and things were getting bad she would surprise everyone with her rage inducing kit.

Her w used to make her a lot more mobile then the one now (well I like the new one more, it's more op), but I remember pretending I was some sort of psuedo yi, running around all the time and chasing everyone down.

Then there was that q. I loved it. It may not be as strong as the new one, but that instant feedback felt great and made game play on her feel very fast paced, letting you pull off those last split second q's.

Her passive, I loved it, it defined her ability to overcome the bleakest situations, I'm sad that it's gone.

Her ult really made her the assassin she was originally meant to be. It was so fun being able to press r and make it either a 1v1 with that person or to just use it for that psuedo kayle like godliness in team fights.

It was really cool how she was one of the few champs, where you could build just about anything on her, it will still be somewhat decent on her giving her a very large variety of ways to build and play her. I sort of miss that, I felt it gave her a lot of flexibility since you could fill a lot of different roles differently.

Her early game was weak, because of her very small base hp pool, (and I believe the lack of mr per level? I don't remember.) but it felt very rewarding getting to mid game, where she really shines. She also had way too many hard matchups, it felt like almost all the commonly used top laners countered her. I think all this could of been fixed with just slight buffs to her base stats. I was really excited for the new rework, but now just find myself missing the old poppy. She just feels like a chunky munky now with her clunky animations (her q feels slow to me, and her passive procced auto feels awkward to use.).

Well this is just my humble opinion, as someone who had about a few hundred poppy ranked games in gold in I think season 4 on a smurf (funny how i played on my smurf more then this account during that season. Not sure if I can call it a smurf since I'm similarly ranked on this account too.) I'm by no means a pro prerework poppy player, but I was an about average player like you all, and had pretty decent mastery of her (my season ranked winrate on her hovered at around the low and mid 80 percent at around 140ish ranked games on her till it took a really sharp dive).

The nostalgia was eating me up so I just had to find a outlet somewhere. What do you guys think of the old poppy?

Her passive and ult were the most toxic things in this game. I'm glad they were cremated and buried deep underground in a bunker so they couldn't bring out fallout.

I don't miss " press R to become practically invincible and kill everyone "

Only thing I miss of old Poppy is her character, which was much better than the generic waifu moe blob we have now that giggles and snorts a lot. That's saying something considering how limited her old character was too.

I do agree on the whole instant feedback thing. The constant delays on everything nowadays really bothers me, especially on my supports. Not satisfying needing to wait for your ADC to be dead before you can use your ult or stun with Taric for example.
