Solo lane Sona os rather bonkers

I have played her supp, top, mid this patch. As supp she is okey, change. Then i played her top vs illaoi and went 7/0/11 plat 4. good to set upp bank. But it was not until i played her mid i understand how powerfull she is and that she scales amazing with levels and with ap. Her late game is just amazing with her zero cds and super sustain damage. You are not so strong early. specially when you go tear into athean. but she gets mana hungry as fuck late game so you need dose item to be manaless and you can spam e 24/7 and have constant 560 speed which you also can give to allies. She is amazing in tema fights and 1 vs 1. Being able to probably 1 vs 1 any champ late game that not can insta gib her in 0.5 sec like maybe a super fed rengar. She sadly will probably be nerfed :/

inb4 they pick waveclear champions to push you undertower and make you lose every cs, they will also be free to roam since you can't push quickly.

Illaoi gets countered painfully hard by a lot of things, and Sona is one of those. (I personally find Lulu to be her hardest counter, but I've never played Sona top so whatever)

I used to play sona mid/top last season, it can be okay if you know what you're doing but you are like AP Ezreal, aka you have zero waveclear

Talk about carrying your team... gez. You were 2/3's of the kills.

Also Lady is right, Sona's major downfall solo lane is her lack of waveclear.

It would be better if her Q also did minor damage in the aura.

I'd trade next attack buff for everyone in the aura for an extra weak aoe damage ontop of the two targets. Or the Aura could also just damage minions and not champs to keep her from just riding into battle like harbinger of death

OR I would also be happy with her Q getting skill level scaling of 1/2/3/4/5 targets instead of 2 targets. That way she can at least Q up to 5 minions.

i adore sona...now I have only played her as support...but I see where she would be great as mid or top...I also agree that her Q aura should do aoe damage to minions or hit more then 2 that would be so amazing...you could almost run her as a APC lol with a leona support and sona with wave clear would be nasty. her Q with power cord does so much damage.
