let me put it into perspective
s6 kog'maw
was pretty strong OP. low avg play rate, high play rate at one point until his W got nerfed, and warped on-hit items (rageblade) to where the items was changed. his play rate was at a steady 3-6% up until his revert. left me a bit confused bc instead of changing how his AS steroid worked (moving the 5AS cap to his level 3 ult to make him truly late game) they decide to scratch everything and revert him to his old self. they didnt bother to test options
s6 graves this dude was constantly oppressive, so not the same OP as kog but similar letters. his sustain was remarkable, his dashes made him very slippery and even if you caught up to him he gets really tanky. great abuser of youmoos and black cleaver. the board had months and month of complaints about graves but the changes to graves are so small/cautious i begin to wonder why the hesitation?
why the hesitation on graves and the unconditional revert on kogmaw? this is merely an example since it has happened to other sets of champions as well
what are you thoughts?
tldr; why is there so much caution in changing evidently oppressive champions like graves? why isn't there caution/thought in changing other champions similarly rather than flat out removing a key aspect to them?
