Why $$$ over Sandbox Mode is a stupid idea. Yes, it's all about money.

Riot's stance with Sandbox Mode is pretty simple, they don't want their players to master the game, they want their players to keep playing their game FOREVER. Either that or the person that made that decision is a complete moron. ** More playtime means more potential customers and money for Riot.** They fear that when the players have mastered the game, this game will die away.

As a long time fighting game player I have to say Riot has ZERO idea on how important practice mode is to a competitive game. Every year, the top players would bring something new to the table, and show off some sick plays on the big screen of a huge tournament. People gets excited, and the crowd would go wild when things like this happen - it's one of the reason people would still cheer for the matches of a game that has been out for years. People puts in hours of hours into training, it brings a lot of depth, surprise and excitement to the entire scene. We watch EVO every year because we never know what to expect, and we like it when we see something that we didn't expect. But Riot doesn't know how much value something like a practice mode can brings to their game. All they care is how much more longer they can keep people playing their game.

Riot has grown so big that they are almost out of touch with the players, and forgot what fundamentally caused the success of their game. I felt really sad seeing that they felt that they have to talk out of their ass to keep their players spend more time in their game. There is nothing wrong with companies trying to make money but there certainly is other ways to keep your game alive, just my 2 cents.

No. It's because IT'S A WASTE OF GOD DAMN TIME, WHY CAN'T PEOPLE REALIZE THIS?
