The Life of an off meta Bot Laner

(The following I never do in Ranked)

First off, i'm a mid main. When I'm playing normal's with my friends sometimes I just say "fuck it, ima go Darius Support." AND IT WORKS. I don't know how but it is so fun. It's great late game, to have another juggernaut on your team. I'm not saying try it, but the slows and pulls work so well. If my ADC is gone, I can still threaten lane. Another thing i've done is gone Zed ADC. This is great, because once I hit lvl 6 I go straight into the adc. All In. And it Sometimes works, but it's fun! I've done some weird stuff, but it came to me that at my elo, you can literally go any bot lane you want, If you go Darius Kalista bot lane, you can still win! And it's bullshit, I hate it but have so much fun doing it. I've went Darius ADC once and by the time the enemy team ff'd my KDA was 19/1/0!

TL;DR

If your incredibly bored of the game, and you don't know what to do, BREAK THE FUCKING META, It is the greatest thing you can do in this game.

That's fine and all. However, it highlights another problem with people doing this. Many people don't even understand why the meta is the meta in the 1st place.

See, I have no problem with someone doing Zed ADC. I like to do fun shit like that but don't tell me about Zed ADC if we are talking about playing to win. There are people that jump in ranked games with shit like this and stymie our chances of winning from champ select.

Duo damage bot lane is nothing super new. Annie, Brand, come to mind. Especially with the season 6 chances, they were less support and more like a 2nd mid laner bot lane >.<

I have seen a few Vel'Koz supports (in bronze) pretty terrible. Sure the first 1-5ish levels you have the best poke bot lane. You destroy, however if you can't get some kills in those first few levels, the table flips. Suddenly your poke doesn't matter.

I did Malzahar bot support a couple times. It was actually really good. Especially if you are duo bot. Can use your space aids and have them bounce. you dont have to kill the minion to get it to bounce. Takes a little bit for the ADC to make the change, but when pushing in, it is an awesome zoner. Then once you hit 6, you basically win almost every matchup as long as you can use your combo on their ADC. It doesn't matter if you have AP items or not. Your void zone, coupled with the ult gives you a huge damage advantage.

I play support AP Nasus in plat ranked games.

Yeah people rage but w/e screw them he's legitimately my best support.

Yasuo + Zac bot lane is disgusting, at lvl 2 the all in is deadly and at lvl 6 NO WAY they are surviving
