Unpopular opinion: 'bruiser' is bad terminology

What is a bruiser, a lot of different champions and different ideas pop into people heads when you say the word bruiser, but riot has a classification system for a reason

Fighters- heavy melee carrys, not tanks. Of the fighter class its broken into sub categories, divers (vi jarvan wukong) who are mobile and engage the backline, and juggernauts (mundo, darius) who are not mobile but tankier (or can build tankier because of in kit dmg)

'Bruiser' tho is an ugly outdated term that muddies the definition and makes the strengths and weaknesses of melee carrys (tanky or otherwise) less understood, fiora, jax, yasuo, aatrox have all be called bruisers hell i think every melee champion thats not like a support/tank can be called a bruiser

And everyone has their own idea of what a bruiser is and isnt, so talking about "how to balance bruisers" becomes a battle of semantics and its completely pointless and a waste of time
