Any tips on how to improve at league?

I've been playing since last October and I did my placements last season before they ended and I ended up in S3 as support/ Mid lane. I dont feel like im improving at all, and sometime i go 13+/1 but sometimes i go 4/6. I do play with my higher elo friends and bf who are in P4 D2, and G3 and I donttt understand at all how they got so good and can just destroy everyone in game and how they get so much cs. Honestly any tips on how to improve would be really helpful and appreciated a lot. Thanks :)

I mostly play Ahri, Lux, Syndra, and ziggs in mid lane and then Soraka and sona as support. and amumu jungle

Play the game for a long time, get more game knowledge. Play the champions that you wanna play a lot, get good at them.

Just get used to blaming yourself for everything that goes wrong, and train yourself to not blame your teammates. Blaming yourself feels bad, so you have two options, stop and think about how you could have done things differently to improve the outcome, or blame your teammates. The former constantly improve, and the latter populate bronze/silver.

Trying to bite off big picture improvements can feel pretty hopeless sometimes, and theres a huge amount to the game so it's hard to even pick one thing. But if you just hone in on what you did wrong whenever you die, that's a much smaller specific problem that's usually easier to answer. Then once you 'know' the answer, try to put it in practice next time a similar situation occurs, repeat until challenger.

edit: If you're a support fan, extend the self blame to whenever your adc dies too. You will eventually become a peel god that way.

We all improve at different rates so don't let it get you down.

https://www.reddit.com/r/summonerschool/ this subreddit was helpful to me when i was new to the game with all the information you will see on there, the wiki is also useful cause it has more info about the champion skills than the in game tooltip would tell you.

Also i think every champ has a subreddit for mains so you can look to these places for tips about pretty much everything for that one champion including match ups, build path for any situation, mechanics. Might be somethings you don't agree with (like building lich bane on ahri instead of ludens for example) and thats fine cause not everyone plays the champ the same way.

I just took the ones you said you play so you don't have to search it yourself.

I also try to see what i did wrong if i die or if the enemy escaped with barely any hp left, and during laning phase ill try to see any mistakes my enemy laner makes for me to abuse. Don't count on the jungler always helping you get ahead, i always try to count on myself and if my jungler should ever gank for me its to get a free kill or to counter gank the enemy jungler.

Good luck and have fun this season.
