they said that star guardian emotes weren't compatible with the new emote system

which is confusing since it kinda insinuates that all art assets tied to them were just straight up thrown out/deleted DURING the event (since this was reported during the event)

so y'know, because of reasons (cough starguardian 2018 RP cost emotes potential cough) they can't make these emotes (or re-implement the special mastery skin).
