Theory: The older your account and the lower in bronze the less likely you can escape.

Thoughts? I feel like younger players escape bronze while my Beta account barely moves a scratch on MMR/ELO/LP. it takes almost 10 games to go up 30 points net.

I've been leaguing from season 3 and I have had friends come in from season 4 and get silver and higher. Maybe it is because they do better on their first 10 games. They get silver or gold and since they took out elo decay those people either stay there or rank up or down. But I started ranking again and I climbed through bronze 3 in a day then i went tob82 lp for bronze 2 and i got people who want to make teemo viable...aka losing streak. (4 Teemos in a row)

your MMR is just low, when I was bronze V after going 0/10 in placements and losing like 15/20 games after that I was getting 3lp for a win, once I got my winrate positive it went back to the usual 20-25 a win/loss

if one is in bronze since S1, he probably won't escape it anytime soon, cvause ig he didn't get out there within 5 seasons and therefor probably simpy isn't a good player and rightfully belongs into bronze. So you theorie actually is right, if a player has an old account and is still deep dpwn in bronze, he most likely won't escape, but thats mostly because he's bad at the game and not cause the system is unfair towards them It needs more time to change your mmr as veteran player than it does as a rookie though, but if you realy have improved to a higher skill-level, you should be able to constantly win and still climb up rather fast.
