A fix to Funnel and double Bruiser bot lane, Riot Please read!

Dear Riot,

I regularly watch LCS, mostly NA LCS with some LCK , LPL and EU LCS mixed in. I have noticed across all the regions most people dislike the funnel strategy. It is a boring strategy it promotes playing against the the neutral camps more than the opposing teams. It leaves one person stuck in the "mid" lane support spot, usually the jungler gets tasked with this extremely boring role. Literally just trying to hold the wave at times so that someone else can come and take the farm. It also takes out the play making potential of junglers and it usually leaves the side lanes to fend for themselves on the funnel strategy team.

My proposed fix to this style of play would be to limit the number of support items that can be purchased to one per team. That support item would then be only purchasable by the person who queued for the "support" role unless he gives the permission to someone else (to allow for role swapping). Other proposed fixes have been to nerf the support item itself therefore hurting the traditional support players as a side effect. The single item support per team would keep supports at their current power level which seems like a good spot and it would remove the funnel strategy. At this point a team would have to essentially play with a 5th team mate with zero gold and this seems like too much of a hit for this strategy to continue. This could also reduce the abundance of bruiser bot laners since most run a double relic set-up to maintain a healthy gold lead over other bot lane set-ups.

It is not as much of an issue in solo queue as across most levels of play people can't pull this strategy off very well. So this would be a mostly ESports based fixed. However, it may help fix the funnel mid strat and double brusier bot strategy that seems unintended by the current Riot Balance staff.
