Ivern's Red/Blue Sapling Duration Indicator
After Ivern has reached level 5, if he "frees", or if one of his allies clears the Red or Blue buff there is a sapling that remains in that location, available for an ally, or him, to pick up for up to a minute.
This is PLENTY of time.
However, the fact that it is so much time should be something that a team can take advantage of and easily be able to keep track of the time remaining.
By this, I mean a team should be encouraged to develop a strategy that considers this delay. Meaning the laner should not need to immediately walk toward the buff as soon as it becomes available. This could allow for Ivern to have already moved away, and possibly about to gank top by the time that the mid laner starts walking toward the blue buff.
It should be easy enough to just look at the game clock and know that you have a minute to get there, but I believe there could be something better.
The simplest thing could be to have an automatic dialogue indication in chat to indicate when the sapling spawned.
"[10:15]Red Sapling is available in the Blue Team's Jungle"
Anyone on Ivern's team can then check their chat and know that the sapling will be available until 11:15.
The thing I don't like about this, is that it automates team communication. Ivern could, and probably should, simply say in chat, "Red" and that would accomplish the same thing.
I would honestly like a more visual indication. Something that is almost more of a warning, or a deadline.
I am picturing something that is more like a large ring that appears on the map for allies that appears around somewhere between 15 - 30 seconds before the sapling despawns and shrinks in radius at a rate that indicates "if you are not inside of this circle by the time it closes, you aren't going to get the sapling."
I'm actually not sure how large the circle would be if you consider a movement speed of about 335 (or whatever would make a good average) closing over 15 - 30 seconds.
I'm sure there could be other ideas that could accomplish the same thing.
