Champion Select / Picks and Bans Improvement to Process

Good Day Summoners,

I would like to propose a feature addition to the Ranked / Draft pick game mode to address a point of frustration both myself, and many of my friends express towards the (relatively) new Pick/Ban process.

In times long passed, the summoner who had first pick also had the responsibility of banning the 3 champions for the opposing team. While this did provide the potential for cancerous summoners to baby rage at the person banning if they did not agree with their 3 choices, as the input may not have been considered; it did however provide an obvious opportunity for everyone at the beginning of the Champ Select process to know the necessary action or non action necessary to progress towards picking a champion, and ultimately starting a game.

The new process, where the bans are randomly distributed ( no more than 1 ban per summoner ) does allow for a more cohesive team environment right from the start. It also creates an arena where the summoners in a lobby are returned to a Queue, due to the fact that SOMEONE ISN'T PAYING ATTENTION!!! And failing to ban a champion!!!

This is incredibly frustrating. I am ashamed to admit that I am all too frequently one of these summoners who is ultimately responsible for longer Queue times for others. As I sometimes fail to ban a Champion in time. I play with my client muted, and my attention may not be directed at the game lobby throughout the Entire Pick / Ban process. Beyond assessing both mine and my opponents team compositions, and perhaps communicating with my team mates pre game, I do not feel it necessary to tediously direct my attention at the lobby for any other reason.

My recommendation to amend this scenario is as follows: - Allow for a summoner to declare whether they wish to "opt out' of Banning participation. Either through: - Adding a setting in the client's summoner profile area - Adding a "check box" to the lobby that can be selected or deselected and remains true from game to game.

This allows for more game lobbies to result in playable games, without being thrown back in Queue. While also removing the license from the potentially toxic summoner who may potentially be upset by not having the opportunity to ban, as he declared he did not wish to participate in that decision making process.

thank you for reading, and I hope that this can get some attention... Let's get this feature added!

Best,
