@Riot: Why won't you make ARAM truly "All Random" instead of restricting it to what Champs you own?

It just seems so unnecessary, and that goes triple for those of us that are early game players who are powerless slaves to your RNG level-up "Rewards" that can give you as little as 90 BE and not even 200 Orange-Essence for a useless champ-shard and skin from one of your "Special" capsules at level 10.

It's not fun seeing the exact same things every single game, you have 130 Champions and yet at the most you'll get 10% of that making an appearance in this mode depending on what's on your free-week rotation.

Just let us have every champ available in ARAM, what possible harm could there be in making the mode truly random? You don't get Champ mastery unless you own them, so you don't get Chest rewards, so you can't farm anything just by spamming ARAM, so wtf? Why do you REFUSE to do anything about this mode to make it more fun for everyone involved? Why are only your late-game players the ones who truly get a random experience?

It's a great idea. It would also allow new player to learn more random champions than the 15-20 available to them.

Because they make money of ARAM-only accounts that buy skins. They don't want to remove that free money.

ARAM is fine.

From a player with over 1k games played, you absolutely do not see the same champs every game.

Making all champs available would screw players who haven't bought champs specifically because they don't want to play them.

ARAM is perfect as is, please Riot don't touch it!

let me educate you and list all the good reasons why this system has to be the way it is now:

small indie company
new client
technology is not advanced enough
spaghetti code
everyone else loves it because "our chart says so"
something, something pride and accomplishment
quality of life changes don´t cash in the big $$$
riot would have to move their asses for something that is not summoner´s rift
and so on...

as u can see the list is endless

and now you may understand why the system can not be changed.[poppy-wink]

While they are at it remove the stupid % chance of getting a free to play champ too.

I own all champions and yet for whatever reason i almost always get a champ that is currently on the Free week rotation. It's annoying as hell.

It would be the logical solution in terms of fairness.

Personally, I wouldn't like it. There are certain champions I don't own and never want to play.

It's because that removes the incentive for new players to unlock skins. New players aren't coming to this game off DotA, they aren't interested in CSing or laning. ARAM is much closer to the type of game mode that would appeal to someone who has never played a MOBA before. If a player joins, realizes he doesn't need to even buy champions to enjoy the game, then he spends 0 BE throughout the game.

That's not an efficient strategy.

Game is free, all you have to do is play a little in order to earn BE to buy new champs.

PLEASE STOP SAYING "TRULY ALL RANDOM". Make your argument for why you think all champs should be unlocked. But don't say "it isn't truly random since all champs aren't included." Random is random whether there is 100 things to choose from or 10.

I totally agree that they need to open the champ pool and make all champs available to all players in this mode. They could balance this change with providing more rerolls to players. Perhaps having 2 rerolls per player per game for every game instead of having 2 rerolls on an inventory system.

Because otherwise the wouldnt sell skins for ARAM accounts? Oh, and high MMR aram wouldn't be filled with the same 20-25 champs in ever game due to said ARAM accts.
