Why doesn't my jungler gank?

Not sure why ganking is an issue when youre on my team, but when the enemy jgler camps my lane and the enemy bot lane is pushed 24/7 cause of it, why do my jglers still never gank? Just curious tho cause I still outplay them 2v2 just not 2v4 and at the end i get flamed by my jgler and whole team.

its not always that simple. Is your mid lane losing? Does the enemy mid laner have a crap ton of agency? If so, the enemy jungler is cruising on his mid laners presence, is going to pull far ahead your jungler, and your jungler is going to be forced to be passive and/or reactionary, rather than proactive.

Just because youre getting camped, doesnt mean your jungler can help you. You need to look at the map as a whole, not just the situation in your own lane before you criticize your jungler.

Example: is he significantly behind because YOU didnt assist him at a Scuttle skirmish, where he ended up losing scuttle, taking a bunch of damage, and losing half of his jungle because he had to recall? Because the enemies team assisted their jungler, but his team didnt. Spiraling him into losing his role. the jungle is very sensitive, we need help from laners.

its much easier for us to help you, if you support us when you can. But most players below high plat dont know or understand what jungle priority is.

Most of junglers don't even have any idea about their role so they just ignore this kind of things.

I'm not a jungler player but I watch a lot of jungler videos in hope of understanding the role someday and finally getting out of practice tool...

  1. Ask what type of jungler you have. Some junglers are power farmers (they will clear their camps really quickly) and might have bad ganking potential, some are early champs with good ganking at lv.2's, some are tanks that cc's the enemy and lets their laner do all the damage, some are late game and can only gank when they hit lv.6 or something, etc.
  2. Ask what kind of lane you're having. If the enemy has cc or escapes, it can be harder to gank. If you don't have any hard cc's or anything, it can be hard to gank for you. For example, Garen...kinda hard to gank for because all he can really do is silence. It would be easier to gank for Yorick because he has a cage thing or Darius who has a grab.
  3. If objectives are up, they should be focusing on objectives or lanes that will help with objectives.
  4. Ask where your jungler is currently located. If they're on the other side of the map, they're not ganking for you.
  5. Junglers are sometimes are just underleveled and should probably focus on farming to catch back up.
  6. Junglers are more likely to gank winning lanes to snowball that lane. They can't focus on all three lanes. A losing lane can be risky because they might die to the enemy, snowballing that lane even more. However, if the lead is small, they might gank to give priority back or if the enemy is low health to at least shut them down.
  7. Lane might just simply be not gankable at that moment.
  8. If the enemy jungler is ahead, your ally jungler might want to focus on other parts of the map so there's a lead somewhere else at least.
  9. Focusing on other parts of the map just might be the smarter choice.
  10. Idk, the jungler might just not know what he'd doing.

Feel free to correct some things. These are just some things I hear from jungler guides.

Because your jungler is auto filled and the guy who used to jungle is now running a support bot lane.

Coming from a former jungler who now runs supports bot lane.

if its a power farmer like shyvana don't expect many ganks. The point of these champions is to farm early and carry late. Certain other champions have level 6 power spikes that they might be waiting for before they gank. These include nocturne rengar, shyvana (again), jarvan, diana, etc.

The handful of champions that are spam gankers (lee sin, xin zhao, and ones like yi and ww that can spam gank and power farm) may seem annoying, but if you notice that they are on the enemy team it's your job as a laner to not die to them. Knowing what you're up against doesn't just apply to understanding the enemy laner since junglers can have an impact on lanes, it's your job to know what type of jungler you will be going against so you don't get overly aggressive when you shouldn't. If you don't know much about jungle champions, you can ask your jungler as they will likely know more about jungle matchups.

and that's all decided in champ select. There are plenty of other factors that other people mentioned so I'm not going to repeat them.

The steps to get your jungler to gank.

  1. DONT PUSH TO THE ENEMY TURRET.
  2. Choose a champion with gank assist. (Cc)
  3. Don’t go 0/4 in 6 minutes
  4. Realize some enemies aren’t gankable. If you gank and illaoi or morde they can and will 1v2 us.
  5. If we gank GO IN. If you do not go in when I’m about to go in, I will not gank for you again.

Because 90% do not know how to properly path and economize with the two XP nerfs to jungle. The 10% gain a 1-2 level lead and they DO gank, while the people resistant to adapting just keep clearing Season 7 pathing and fall behind 2 levels and don't feel adequate to gank.
