Looking for tips

Hello, I am fairly new to this game and am looking for some pointers.

  1. Currently the only champion I have is Garen. I was wondering what the best setup for him is. Including, runes, mastery skills, abilities, and items along with anything else that affects how well the character and player do (which I don't know about because I am new).
  2. I have been told I need to get 16 champions. What are some good ones to get? I enjoy well rounded characters, I prefer melee over range because range tends to just run away, however I want like 1-3 good range characters. I tend to only retreat if I have 3 hits or less before I die, otherwise I will come back into the fray after I regroup or abilities recharge. I also want to be considered skilled at the game not just because of the character but because of how I use them. All these things I think affect what characters would be best for me. I do not have the knowledge to pick any for myself. If anyone needs more details please let me know.
  3. If there is a better place or way to get these answered please let me know.

  1. use this site http://champion.gg/ and click on the champ you wanna look at, in this case garen, and itll tell you the best build, mastieres, runes, and more. all the info on their correct because ive even check other places to ensure it was.

  2. Darius would be a good choice, similar to garen, and very strong chogath is another well rounded champ, more on the tanky side. Tryndamere is solid Jayce is very well rounded and more on the damage side but takes alot of practice to play wukong is another fav of mine if your looking for a jungler then Udyr, hecarim, and warwick are all great well rounded melee champs.

if you have any other questions, to be honest alot of champs fit your criteria but if you want me to give a solid few champs then tell me more details
