Common Rek'Sai Problems?

Seems the following are some things Riot could change about Rek. Do you agree? Maybe some more than others?

  • Q whilst Burrowed is extremely unsatisfying to use

Could use a slow as it feels empty without it resulting in simply a narrow skillshot with a tiny AOE reveal at the end whilst dealing negligible magic damage which can't viably be itemised for. If you're really against adding a soft CC to compliment her one knockup every 10 seconds, then let it reduce the cooldown of Tunnel on Q champion collision so she can continue her chase as a reward for landing it.

  • Being Burrowed limits vision too heavily leaving you wide open without any means of defense (get CC'd out of fog trying to Tunnel, can't ult as got hit by basic attack not even a real interrupt. Ability setup to embarrass overzealous players xp)

Burrow makes her blind to something standing 3 feet away, and without defensive stats and with Tunnel not making you untargetable makes it easy to walk into several enemies at once with Tremor vision not helping much as you can't see the enemy winding up their CC/spells. 15MS bonus doesn't exactly put her on skates as it simply brings her in line with equally mobile champions (Lee, Noc, etc.) who get this as part of their base stats all the time making this just a poor excuse for padding to fill up a skill like Lissandra's passive. Could use Tenacity or make Tunnel an untargetable skill so when she's 10 feet under it isn't retarded seeing her suddenly get hooked mid-tunnel or taking huge damage from the enemy as if the ground itself was made out of tissue paper or that she decided to leave her most vulnerable spot protruding like a target.

  • Due to the above, need to build somewhat tank, but passive HP regen is a flat amount like Rengar/Kha'Zix's heal, rather than a % like Gragas or Maokai

This makes her less optimised for tanky builds despite needing it to facetank her way toward the enemy. She's made out to be a Fighter/Assassin like the aforementioned, but is a lot more vulnerable with no incombat sustain, ranged CC/poke which deal the right type of damage to be relevant, invisibility or upfront burst so can't make use of the same sort of builds which guts her damage heavily making her more likely to explode given how risky her playstyle can get in comparison or deal no damage by going tankier but still being unable to stick to a target as well as the above. Just a bunch of tunnels she can still get knocked out of. The dilemma is real. I like the design/gameplay, but the stats don't back it up. From overloaded bruiser Gnar to gimped assassin Rek who actually needs to stay in the fight longer but lacks the CC to stick to anything once she's forced to use her long cooldown gapcloser - which if you interrupt, makes her near useless with only her weakling poke contributing to the fight until the dang tunnel reopens (assuming it hasn't been merely stepped on by the enemy team) by which time the fight is over or the enemy is ready to kick you out of the dirt again. What gives, Rito?
