As a Leona main...

These video suggestions on what champs are strong, are wrong in regards to Leona. Running Aftershock, her damage is CONSIDERABLY lower than it was prior to this update, with a standard 15AD/Fervor or Thunderlords build.

Even running CoC, the 15AD on her Q being a AA reset was more damage output than Aftershock. Her damage is not up. Her survivability is not up. Shes just getting a lot of game play because Aftershock looks like it was made for her.

after quite a bit of testing, running tank runes seems to be the worst option on Leona.

Comet and Press the Attack are much better.
