Is this what the community has become?

So the update happened. That's well and good. Shame I can't actually try any of the affected champions or see what their changes have wrought.

I've mentioned the oceans of defeatism that have overtaken most of the League. This new patch introduced a fresh wave that is outright ruining most games. One of them didn't even HAVE any of the Juggernaut Champions in it, but their shadow over the update alone was enough to make people start crying defeat ON BOTH SIDES and sobbing in the fountain.

So a game that is supposed to be about teamwork, strategy, observation and adaptation has long since been boiled down to an Ayn Randian game about "winning", where people refuse to cooperate or adapt, where cooperation is considered a WEAKNESS. They'd rather retire to the fountain at level 1 and shout for nerfs for everyone but their favorite champion, who should be buffed, no matter how strong they currently are, than face even the slightest single tribulation or, god forbid, deign to ask for help! It was old when this drowned the community months ago, it's getting even older now.

If you can't see past your own selfish desire to win the game, if you don't bother to fight back when the enemy punches you in the face, if you refuse to work with your team and believe that teamwork is a one-way street in YOUR direction, then don't play. Don't log in, don't enter the queue. You're bogging down the entire game AND the entire community by refusing to adapt or change in a game that is constantly changing. You don't even play the affected champions for a scintilla of one game before you are ready to just give up.

I'm tired of it. I've been tired of it for months now. I'm tired of every game going to shit because someone goes active AFK on either team because they give up so soon out of the starting gate. I'm tired of trying to boost the morale of enemies and allies alike to have a good honest fight. I'm tired of people refusing to cooperate with their team, refusing to adapt, refusing to do any of the necessary things to achieve victory. The game is not fun when you swamp it with defeatists and the game becomes a grumping contest. My ultimatum is simple; either play or LEAVE.
