Quitters

This game is getting almost unplayable due to the number of folks quitting games. I cant even go 2 RANKED rounds anymore without somebody quitting. I am sick and tired of getting loss after loss at 4v5. The game does nothing to help the team with a man down, and the punishments for losing the round in ranked solo que are just as harsh as if we actually had a chance. I know I am bronze but its issues like this that make me really start to hate league and for the last couple months its only been getting worse and worse. I really dont know what can be done, but apparently punishing folks for leaving just is not doing it. Perhaps its time to examine some sort of balance mechanism for teams that operate down a player. As it stands where you just dont stand a chance(unless things were really uneven in the matchmaking) just makes it crap. When somebody quits at minute 5, I am stuck in a game for another 15 before I can even leave it. Which is just grinding salt in a wound. Not really sure how to handle it, but something like the option to surrender early with a man out at the very least would be really really nice.
