Riot games cheated us with the defensive rune shards by HALF (maths proof included)

i did the maths

350 for a long sword so 350 divided by 10 equals 35 meaning 35 gold per Attack Damage

300 for an armor cloth so 300 divided by 15 equal 20 gold per Armor

now we can check if the 5 Armor giving in the rune stats is the same as 6 Attack damage

for 6 AD you would need to do 35 times 6 since its 6 AD so the gold cost for 6 AD is 210 gold

for 5 armor you would need to do 5 times 20 because its 5 armor so the gold cost for 5 armor is 100 gold

6 ATTACK DAMAGE for 210 gold 5 ARMOR for 100 gold

conclusion

in order for armor to even be close or almost Equal to 6 attack damage the armor giving should be atleast worth 200 gold and to achieve this in maths you would need 20 per armor cost times 10 armor = 200 armor value

meaning 5 armor is almost = to 3 AD not 6 AD

If 6 AD then it should be 10 armor and yet 10 armor will still have 10 gold less than 6 AD

Im very disappointed in riot games balance team you can't even do simple maths.

Why do you assert that dealing damage and preventing damage should be equally cost effective?

Problem is that they see those Rune Shards as base stat increases. 60 AD is a fair starting AD stat (there are some lower, but they tend to be mages), and 6AD is a 10% increase in your base ad.

The champion with the highest level 1 armor in the game is leona at 47. So that there is already a bigger % increase before you consider Leona has an absolutely absurd amount of armor lvl 1.
