Any rioter please help :'c

Hi, i have been playing league for about 2-3 years now and ive enjoyed the game throughout the years but lately ive had a major issue that has been impacting my games to the point of them being almost unplayable. My friends and i are currently silver and bronze and play league for fun and often Que up in normal games, as of the last 2 months we are being matched with players of platinum very high gold and even diamond on rare occasion which are clearly out of our skill range and as you could imagine we tend to get stomped and often end up sitting in our fountain waiting for the game to end or the 20 minute mark to hit, i have no idea what caused our matching to somehow skyrocket this way, but it has made the game so un-enjoyable we tend to simply not play, i previously put in a ticket and essentially the response i received from a rioter was "ever summoner has a bad game here and there and the matching system is suppose to match you with players of similar skill" this doesnt solve my problem of why why our games a 2-3 tiers above us and left me feeling as though he didnt even bother reading my entire message, personally ive never had bad experience with riot employees and normally am helped in a very timely manner but this particular person left a bad taste in my mouth (sorry but that isnt the point of this message) i would just like any help or advice the the previously mentioned issue and thank you in advance ^_^
