why is talon even allowed to exist?
He's so unhealthy, zero counterplay to his right click everything
He's so unhealthy, zero counterplay to his right click everything
so now everyone is saying talon was broken even before duskblade? i thought people were saying he was the most balanced assasin before this
is a very troublesome assassin, but he has very few other things he can do if he gets caught out, having to use his ultimate to escape sometimes...
I WILL never understand why they implemented it during a carry meta where assassins are high up there already.
But talon pales in comparison to
as examples. He has his own quarks of very strong instant burst, but when I face a talon, and lose to him, that all comes down to him killing me before i can kill him, instead of others that can do damage with 0 retaliation due to them having some mechanic to hit from distance/ recall abilities and or straight up invulnerabilities.
Talon has the tools to do the job, but is fairly one dimensional, his e being his dive engage, and having little ways to leave a fight if he finds himself in the center.
Talon is literally the weakest yet healthiest assassin. He is 60% melee and has low mobility. If you're complaining about Talon then pray you never see
...literally ANY other assassin in their prime.
In fact,Rengar is still alive and kicking. I'd love to see how you deal with him.
His concept was idiotic until today. AoE ad assassin.

He was fine and then they made
.
The ability to slam your face into the keyboard and kill stuff with no backlash is of terrible design.
Because not everyone is bronze or silver.
have you heard "Pink ward it" before?

First of all, I already know why you made this thread. However, If you look at that Talon's match history, he has decent KDA in most, if not all of his games. Also, it is highly unlikely that a pre-30 player would have the desire to spend 4800 IP on a champion as unpopular as Talon, unless, of course, he is a smurf who has prior experience with Talon. The fact that he has four runes pages with the standard rune set for four kinds of champions only further supports my assumption that the Talon you played against is a smurf. I cannot say exactly how good he is, but he certainly has a big edge on you in terms of skill.
That, believe it or not, is the cause of your issue. It's not that Talon is OP, but that he was better at League of Legends than you and your team. See, as a Talon main, I feel like I have some authority when I say that I have to be significantly better than my lane opponent to stomp them the way he stomped you. I can confidently say that he probably dodged most, if not all, of your Qs and Es during laning phase. That right there isn't the imbalance of a champion; it's a demonstration of superior skill.
Furthermore, against a Talon who is better than you at this game, you built absolutely 0 armor. You also don't have ANY armor in your runes. Thus, it is only natural that you went 2/10 while he ended the game 17/2. Also, as a side note, he built QSS, which isn't something that low elo players would do. Again, great disparity in skill.
Finally, I'd also like to point out that Talon is not only weak in lane in comparison to the current meta mid laners, but is also very roam-oriented. When I play him, I am basically a jungler sent mid to safely reach level 6 so I can gank effectively. Judging by the number of times your bot lane duo have died, and how little kill and assist the enemy jungler & ADC had, I think it is safe to assume that the Talon roamed exceptionally well. As we all know, successful ganks mean superior timing, vision control, and are one of the most common forms of outplay. None of these are made possible by Talon's kit alone--it is the player outplaying you and your bot lane. I promise that if he was playing someone like Zed, Fizz, or even Ahri, the game would have turned out just as bad for you.
Overall, that one game is not a truthful representation of Talon's strength. It was one vastly superior player, probably on a smurf, kicking in the faces of other, less skilled players. If anything, this game sheds light on the negative repercussions of smurfing. So, please, understand that that was an unfair game because you were a level 25 player forced to play against someone who is definitely above silver, not because "Talon OP". If you have trouble learning from the experience, forget it, and move on. It wasn't your fault. But just know that you lost to the player and not the champion.
TL;DR: OP is a lvl25 player who got stomped by a smurfing Talon.
Edit: I have finally managed to contact the Talon who demolished OP. He's a plat smurf.
