Matchmaking messed up

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone elses matchmaking seems to be as messed up as mine is. I was gold 1 and now have been demoted slowly but surely to gold 3. I keep being matched with players from divisions that just shouldn't be in these games, last match I had two silver three's and two silver ones on my team where as the enemy had a plat and the rest gold - it makes no sense and im just wondering if anyone else is having these sorts of issues it just makes the game so frustrating and not fun

Yep all the time, combined with huge loss streaks due to leavers. They hand wavey claim it'll balance out in the end. Don't want to play 300 games to hit balance thx. Thank god Borderlands 3 is out.
