Remakes

So I just queued up for a ranked game. I've been stuck in Silver III for a couple weeks and I'm trying to climb my way out with little to no avail but I must trudge on to reach my goal of Gold by the end of this season. When I enter the game my client freezes and my laptop is acting up, so I have no choice but to restart my laptop to make sure I don't overload it with requests. When I sign back in, I'm down 19 LP and put on Low priority queue due to technicality.

I love the remake mechanic and I am 100% on board for being able to restart a queue if someone afks due to internet issues or the like to make the process go a bit faster. But isn't it kind of unfair to those of us who are the victims of these freak technical accidents to get penalized for it or am I wrong?
