The new paradigm makes her needlessly clunky and it just takes too much active input from the player (while also locking you out of other abilities). Vector casting just feels much more natural.
This is a humble petition to get Taliyah to have vector casing on her W.

The developer on the champion has weighed in on this issue, and specifically stated that they did not want her w to be vector cast. I don't think any amount of support will get that changed.

Yeah, riot's defense for not giving her vector casting is basically that they want it to be difficult to pull off her combo... except that making a champion feel clunky by forcibly changing the players APM never feels good.
I fucking hate every single one of you for this thread. Vector casting ruined the character and people like you lead to this asinine change. Thanks for ruining the champ.
