I'm by no means a mid main, but I've taken to playing it more because I hate playing ADC right now. Laning against Syndra feels impossible unless I have huge range and even then, one Q-E means I'm almost sure to die because her ult is absolutely ridiculous right now. Any tips on how to lane against her and not get bullied into oblivion?

I hate her push back AND stun. It is so easy to land, and guarantees you get hit by q then ulti, then bye bye.
Use champs with dashes and mobility to close in on her. Once E is down she has no escape or peel and those dashes can dodge W and E
Ekko has been a pretty rough matchup with dash to close in and his R counters her R. Same with zed
People just bitch about Syndra because the champs that counter her have a higher skill cap so shitters cry whey they cant play them
