Banned udyr. prepick udyr player trolls. Am I wrong?

He was 2nd and 3rd pick so the other team was going to have 2 chances to pick him. I clearly saw that he wanted udyr but udyr is currently really strong in the jungle. I know that when champs are strong it doesnt necesarily mean you have to ban them because they may not be that popular or easy to play. but for example dr. mundo was a must ban a month ago because he was strong, popular, and easy.

I think that if a champ is

  1. Strong in the meta atm
  2. Known for being strong atm
  3. Easy to play and pick up so anyone can play (like zed for example is strong but not easy so ill let slide right now) then I think its not worth the risk to have that champ float around for 2 picks on the enemy team.

Anyway he trolled and went vayne top so i went jax adc and our top went jungle (lmao) just so we would have a good team fight later. we ended up winning but thats besides the point.

Anyway I know that the guy is a dick and that ill eventually pass him up but was I the one that started it?

If somebody wants a high priority pick, first pick it for him and then swap later.

You can ask your team if the first pick will take udyr and swap, if they say no or are unresponsive then ban it. Shows you at least made an effort, but if they act like bitches after the fact just throw them on mute and carry on.

You definitely gave the other team a little too much credit. Even though he's insanely strong right now, you'd be surprised how many people have no idea or are still building item 3930.

You're wrong and probably deserved a report for not communicating with your team. Why would you ban the champion someone wanted to pick? There's a reason that person wanted to pick it. [zombie-nunu-bummed]
