[SUGGESTION] A New Ping Option to Identify Enemy Champions by Their Roles.

Communication of opponent champions' locations is one of the most crucial parts of the gameplay. During the laning phase, you can warn allies of possible ganks and countergank opportunities. Post laning phase, knowledge of enemy misposition can often lead to a favorable teamfight or objectives (barron, dragon, towers...etc).

Currently, our ping system has two broad types of pings that can accommodate for all the instances a ping can be used to signal enemy positions: the warning sign (or the general all purpose blue ping) or the MIA ping. Although MIAs are clear based on their location, after a warning ping, the player has to type in chat what the warning is for, or just trust that his/her allies will become very passive until they identify it as well.

I would like to propose a new type of ping, where you can specify the enemy champion's role.

With this ping, you will be able to select the role (top, mid, adc, supp, jg) of the enemy champion you saw. For example, if you see the enemy jg passing by one of the deep wards you placed, you will be able to use this ping to specifically pinpoint the enemy jg's position to your allies. This will cut out the need to take time to type in chat while enhancing the degree of information you can provide to your allies.

Of course, in settings where you are communicating over voice chat with your teammates, the value of this ping diminishes. However, I would like to point out that in vast majority of the games (soloQ and duoQ), you will not be connected over voice with all 4 other members of your team.

There is immense potential of what this ping can bring to the gameplay, by allowing teams to communicate more efficiently and accurately.

Please upvote if you would like to see this ping in game, or leave comments if you have suggestions / ideas.
