Why are junglers so power trippy?

I don't understand the attitude of many junglers I get in my games.

I play top and I try to set up ganks minutes ahead of time by the wave and asking for a gank in a few minutes. I don't blame the jungler when I die, and I don't ask for ganks when my lane is too far gone, unless I have them at about 20 percent health. I just play the game.

But when I ask for a gank, I might as well have just thrown the game away. It seems that just me asking for a gank tilts them and makes them not want to gank for me, and that all of a sudden, my teammate is my enemy. Like, we're on the same team in a ranked game, I don't see the issue.

'How dare you ask me for a gank!'

I'm not talking about all junglers, but at least 20-30 percent IMO. Does anyone else feel this way?

Ganking is an opportunity, not necessity. If jungler can gank that's great, but it's not jungler's main job. If he spends time on ganking he will not have time either a) for farming or b)for objectives. Also, widely accepted that jungler should help good lanes as little bit or push in their direction might help them to carry the team, where helping bad player is a waste of time.

I've been jungling a lot as of late. It can be tilting because a lot of laners feels they're entitled for a gank. While they may need it, but we have 2 other lanes to gank and farm to keep up with. So when players yell at us for not ganking because (not all of us) are trying to do what is best in our opinion. While we're all humans, we all have standards, and we all have certain needs. You just have to know not everyone will do things your way. Just like you won't do things in your lane in their way.

But as for attitudes, well I can't speak for them. All I know is that we're the easiest scapegoats.

Jungle has been insanely broken for a long time now. Which means a vast majority of players played jungle so a lot of bad and idiotic players became jungler and think they are hot shit when it was just the role carrying them way above their skill level. Now that jungle has changed and needs a little bit more skill they fall of a cliff, ruin every game while non stop flaming their team and crying rivers of tears on reddit, twitter, youtube even twitch. Give jungle a final nail in the coffin so junglers get some decency and humility back after a year we can think about making them a role again.

Thanks for all of your answers. I was expecting some snarky "you suck" type of answers, and got some good feedback instead.
