[frequently updated topic] New LoL Client Alpha test
Hi League players, feeders and trolls,
this morning I received an email inviting me to download the 
brand new Alpha version of the LoL Client, which I'm gonna do right now.

As things go on, I will update this topic (including my screen shots & reports) for those who do not take part in the Alpha version and who'd like to see what the client looks like and follow its evolution.

2.30 pm I have installed and taken a look around the new client, so here's what I got for you guys.
http://s33.postimg.org/9gpoeo567/3_Login.png My name is Dinger, Heimerdinger. Yes, Heimerdinger will be the first champion to appear on this new client login screen. There's no real theme song but you can hear Heimer's turret noises, as well as other random tools noises.
http://s32.postimg.org/qpfwpbdpx/4_Home.png The home screen is now pretty clear and refined. News in the first place, the chat bar -will talk more about this later- is still on the right. On the top of the screen you can see PLAY, ALPHA, NEWS, SHOP, PROFILE, COLLECTION. For now, only ALPHA and PROFILE are activated.
http://s32.postimg.org/ropo7jv3p/5_chat.png The chat system got a little tweak. Now, all the conversation are gathered in one single frame, and you can switch between conversations by clicking on the name of your friend. You no longer have to double click on a name to open chat, one click will do.
http://s32.postimg.org/3kpprrxv9/5_chat_cadre_ami.png When you mouse over a friend, now you can't see what lane or position he plays the most, just like you can in the current live client. Maybe the feature will be added soon.
http://s32.postimg.org/yy2ii5bud/6_profile.png When you go to your profile, you get the the splash art of your last played champion as a background. You can see your summoner icon, the honor mentions, your best three champions and your league.
Clicking on your summoner icon will open a window, allowing you to change it.
The matches history, as well as champions, runes and so on are still not available. Though, the Alpha patch notes say that the profile will be the main focus for the upcoming weeks, so should see some fast changing around here.
http://s32.postimg.org/soe6lar05/7_match_maker.png Nooooow, the team builder. It looks a lot like the most recent update, but more in a flat or material design. Only normal games can be played at the moment (Summoner's Rift & Howling Abyss).
