Can we get a "Turn Chat off" Option in the Game Play or Communication settings section?

Literally anything you say in chat can be subjectively construed as passive aggressive or "toxic" out of context. So why even have a chat restriction when you can mute people if they are too toxic? I don't know about other people, but I for one respond to bullies and flamers when challenged with blatant ignorance or obvious trolling (E.g. Jungle Kindred challenging last hits bot lane denying the ADC farm). So rather than be tempted to respond to people making obviously ridiculous claims or trolling and subsequently having my honor demoted on top of 20 minutes plus of harassment, can I please have the option to never see what other people are saying in chat without having to take the time to hit tab and click the option next to everyone's name in game? This seems like a reasonable fix for people like me who politely, sarcastically, or ironically correct trolls in game and then most likely lose their end of season rewards for daring to press enter a handful of times in chat during one blind pick game.

Before you ask, here is what I said that got my Honor locked and demoted from level 2, 3 days after the season ended (I don't really care about the chat restriction as I mostly never chat to begin with unless confronted with epic level trolling)

......but for responding to one troll without obscenity and for only one blind pick game, I lose my end of season rewards? Just let me turn chat all the way off before game start?
