Remove Gold Reward for Champion Kills and Turrets

The snowball problems in the game have been discussed a lot on these forums. The analogy is made, "what if in football when you scored a touchdown you got to put an extra player on the field?" That would obviously lead to blowouts in 90% of football games, and that's exactly what we have in LoL.

The answer is very obvious, but it is so different from what you're used to that most of you will reject it out of hand. Simply remove any gold reward for champion kills or turrets destroyed. The point of killing a champ is to take him off the map and give you an advantage in taking objectives. The point of taking objectives is to get to the nexus and win the game. Getting gold is a double bonus analogous to the football team getting an extra player. Just get rid of it.

If you want this go play HotS. They're trying to make it work.

I don't like it because you wreck anyone who doesn't have great wave clear. Assassins would be even worse and supports become useless (probably ward vending machines again with their meager incomes without assists). Anyone that can farm well gets a major powerspike too. The game becomes even more about who farms better.

That might be fine for the carry champs that should be getting gold from creepscoring anyway, but might present a problem for the jungler and support, who kinda rely on kills, objectives, and assists to fund their builds.

If this is done, maybe provide some GP5 on jungle and support items?

That would change the game too much....but i am kinda pro to reduce the gold reward of kills.

U can'T realy compare a tuchdown with a kill. The thing coming close to an touchdown would be an inhibitor, which already doesn't give gold or exp. lol isn'T a game based on time, u have a clear winning condition, and the game goes till that condition is met. U don'T win the game if u have more kills than ur enemy after some period of time, u need to destory the nexus to win and frankly a kill doesn'T help mutch without gold and exp. In the late, the deathtimers are high enough to make kills meaningfull without gold and ur teams dps usually is high enough to gain objectives out of it, but in the early, it would be pointless. Takeing gold and exp rom kills would make the game boring and stale, just afk farming side by side till late, and the oportuinitys for individual plays and makeing use of outplaying one 1v1 would deminish alot. I definitly wouldn'T want to play lol without gold or exp from kills.
