@Meddler: Can I get your stance on a Zerging mechanic?

I love the direct Yorick is going in, as it'll make him much more useful and have actually good gameplay. HOWEVER, it means that he can't really overrun an enemy by Zerging them, as his Mist Walkers are timing-based, gated, and have limited duration.

When I think of Zerging, I imagine a virtually unending stream of Zerglings, Locusts, or other ankle-biters marching inexorably toward the enemy. Unless you take them out at the source, you WILL be overrun by superior numbers. After all, "quantity is a quality all its own" (I believe Joseph Stalin said this one, but I could be wrong).

If you need another game example, picture the Goths in Age of Empires 2. Once they hit Imperial Age, their 35% discount on infantry and super-fast creation speed with Barracks means they can simply overrun an enemy army with Champions, Halberdiers, and Huskarls. It's quite intimidating when you see the enemy throwing non-stop infantry at you.

So far, the only Champion who comes close to using this is Malzahar, but he doesn't truly capture the feeling of the Zerg Swarm. I would really love to see an eventual Champion who embodies the Swarm, but I have to worry that you and the rest of Riot feel that Zerging is toxic to League.

So to ask directly: Would Zerging be toxic to League?
