Oriannas Shockwave cancel

Its extremely frustrating when I'm in a close 1v1, or a teamfight and I'm about to land a good R right before I die for it to just magically get cancelled mid "cast". Sure it has a 0.75 second delay and a "invisible" cast time but wouldn't that mean that any CC during that period would also cancel it ( like anivia R for example) It makes no sense. Fixing this by either shortening the delay or just letting it go through upon death would be a nice quality of life change for Ori, considering that shes also not doing too well, with every other meta mid champ having high winrates over her.
