The pathing has been f'd up for a couple years now, no one acknowledges it.

No you never were able to go through minions. There were extra items for that purpose, like Phantom Dancer. Fizz passive also allowed to go through minions. The pathing was always like that, but how do you want to change it? Its more complicated than you think it is.
