Random (probably shit) garen sustain idea
Rework passive
New passive = Garen passively regenerates 1/2/3% of his missing HP every second based on levels (1/7/13). When courage is active, garen regenerates double the amount for 1 second every time he takes damage from an enemy champion, but upon courage finishing, garen regenerates only .5/1/1.5% of his missing hp for the same amount of time courage was active.
What does this mean?
Garen is rewarded/punished more for using his courage at the right time. His kit is still rather simple for beginners, but rewards higher skilled garens who activate it at the optimal time as opposed to every time it's off cd. Garen finally has in combat sustain which suits his juggernaut style instead of this current skirmisher passive that inhibits his ability to want to get in the middle of the fight. Garen gets punished for using courage when he doesnt take damage and rewarded for using courage when he takes damage, this further incentivizes garen players to want to use courage when the beating is coming their way.
Courage lasts 2/3/4/5/6 seconds, so the cooldown period is also 2/3/4/5/6 depending on courage level. This neither encourages nor discourages courage leveling before other abilities since the reward scales with the punishment as opposed to forcing garen players to have to max this early instead of impactful damage abilities like E or Q (although in tough matchups for garen this provides a more viable, defensive leveling route if he needs it. Think of darius and his bleed and how this change can interact with that).
And of course, the base passive itself is easy. Like the current passive, it's nothing too complicated, just a missing percent heal boost active at all times. Helps garen out when he fights and takes damage, and doesnt do much when he stays near or at full hp (not like he needs a lot of regen when he is near full anyways).
