If you are going to give bard a crap stun, atleast give him the range to engage with it when people are out of position. It needs a range increase on par with morgs snare atleast. It's slow as fuk, wide as fuk, and overall just bad... Every other ap troll pick is a better ap support than bard.

I actually found bard's stun pretty glitchy and clunky. it's suppost to continue forth from the target it hit into either terrain or another target in order to stun, but it always goes to the side. gives me troubles
Meanwhile, Bard's still a high pick in competitive games despite your rants.

The way you say you want the range of Morgana's snare tells me that you are playing Bard inefficiently. He isn't meant to stand back but go in and actively harass so the range is perfectly fine for that.
Bard is for plays there's plenty of things to do with him hes kinda like a jack of all trades support.
I don't play bard, I play adc in diamond, and the only time I ever lose lane is when I have a bard. They either get poked out of lane, get pulled and die, basically die in general then blame me for not doing anything... Bard is the worst support in the game, with little lane presence and overall not viable in solo q. Competitive play? solo q and competitive play are worlds apart... any champ can work so aslong as there is a team comp reinforcing it... Bard is a worthless champ who is outshined by pretty much every troll pick let alone actual supports in solo q...
