My biggest complaint about Sylas from a holistic design perspective
I was looking at Sylas' kit and lore and after thinking about it for a bit, I think riot made a big mistake. Based on his lore, I feel like his kit should have been more tuned so he's an anti-AP champ who is weak against AD matchups. Riot could have done things like scale his abilities off of the AP of the champs he's hitting. They could have also limited his ult-stealing to ults that do magic damage. I think those things would have made him more thematic as well as keep him in line and easier to balance in game. Yeah he'd be more niche, but his lore suggests a champ that supposed to be a niche pick.
I really feel like riot missed an opportunity to better connect the champ's kit with the champ's lore.
