Towers don't do enough damage early game, diving is way too easy at the moment. I play Garen a lot and I just stroll under towers and kill people. Tower diving should be a skill which needs perfecting, its just frustrating when you get dove so early into a game.
This game has been out for 8 seasons, excluding the beta and alpha stages, I think we had more than enough time perfecting tower dives. Just go look at season 3 and before tower dives compared to now and spot the difference not in the tower damage, but how it's played. It's complete crap compared to today
The problem with towers dealing high up front damage is that it greatly impacts the power of hook supports that can drag people under tower, particularly in the early game and particularly at low elo.
If you increase tower damage even a little, iBlitzcrank will spike in winrates on Smurfs.
I think they should deal less initial damage, but more damaging ramping up

i think towers need more late damage, no tank should be able to tank all turret shots while his team destroys it when there are no minions around
its funny cause Towers are like this Lvl 1 absolutely devastating can 2-3 shot you. Lvl 6 - As long as I dont get CC'd under tower I will be fine Lvl 12 - ? what was that a mosquito?
Bro a Shaco in early game tried to tower dive me and just got killed by the turret in like 3 turret shots, whilst trying to walk away into the jungle and I survived lmfao.
In a fair fight it only takes one tower shot to shift the lane pressure
