Fizz's damage is absurdly strong to me

Granted there aren't that many competent Fizz players, but when you see someone who can use this champions combos, the amount of damage is unheard of throughout the game. Facing this champion in lane is truly annoying to me. Tips on beating him with melee champions? [Other than Darius because chopped fish is a crime]

Building MR as your first item and continuous building does not prevent him from dishing out tons of damage on you. Imagine having 120 MR at 15 minutes and losing a quarter of your health because Fizz simply made you bleed.

You cannot trade with this champion. He will avoid all forms of attacks and dish out such a high amount of damage, you'll either be very wounded or somebody else can clean you up. Of course a full MR build will make Fizz's damage output low on you but you become completely susceptible to AD.

As a ranged champion with mobility, Fizz isn't actually that much of an issue. You can get out of his jump zone, ultimate, and avoid his enhanced auto-attack. He loses a lot of damage from it. However, a melee champion sure as hell has the worse time with Fizz.
