Sett's laning phase is too strong.

I recently came back to league and I have played many games against a Sett in toplane and I think he is too strong. I like the idea of the character but he seems too strong, especially in lane. I'm not saying that he isn't impossible to beat as he has long cooldowns and such, but playing against him is always overwhelming to me. It is rare for me to win a trade against him playing many champs as his damage is just absurd and his shield when timed right is just way too much. His natural sustain after a trade is also ridiculous as it just gives him back so much health that I work to take off. He is a hard matchup that is just plain boring and unrewarding to play against. Does anyone else feel the same way?
