Is Yorick Good?

I feel like Yorick used to be garbage and now all of a sudden he's gotten pretty broken... I've definitely seen Yoricks carry games in ways that they definitely would not have a couple of months ago. He seems like a Nasus-type champion to me (but very auto attack based), so is he worth learning and how would I play him if I did?
