Reconnecting after "attempting to reconnect" screen

I'm so angry right now. After losing ranked games in a row I was trying hard to win the last one when the "attempting..." screen popped up. Wanting to reconnect I left the game. But then I found out that you cant reconnect if you leave it. I mean my internet was fine and I'm pretty sure it was the client's problem and even if there were warnings regarding this it clearly didn't stand out.. Now I'll get reported and penalised for leaving the game which wasn't my intention. I think there should be a separate option for issues like this especially for people who don't know or for foreigners playing in OCE who can't speak english well to understand warnings :(
