Basically i leave my ADC botlane alone and go counterjungle the enemy and gank 24/7 all lanes.

Is this bannable? im telling my teammates before the game what im about to do too, they are free to dodge if they dont like my strat.

According to rules, it "isnt" really bannable. Its kinda grey zone, since it isnt classic offmeta, like pick this champ in assigned role or build whatever items. You are taking it step further and shifting whole game(especially botlane outcome, not sure where you are, higher you go, more likely will sololaners answer invades, so it may harm your sololanes as well).

Imo it kinda goes against IV. point of summoners code and clear agreement from your team might be needed.

As far as I know, there were 3 players banned for borderline trolling strats like that. AddelaideSkyheart, Nunu with similar strat(cant find name) and Nubrac.

But to put it straight, you can get banned, but its unlikely. On the other note, communication is key here and since you are destroying experience for at least one player(adc), it should be bannable if your team doesnt agree, but again, its grey zone, do it at your own risk.

Agreed with Jng Account. Be super polite during champ select, if they refuse your style, you should accept the majority and play according to role distribution. They shouldnt have to dodge. They might also check your opgg to see if you are proving its efficient or not. Because if you lose a majority of your games with that system, then its a bad idea.

Play FlexQ with 4 friends who will know what you are trying to do. SoloQ shouldnt be the place to test things in the first place.

This is how sad this game is, where any deviation from riots forced stale meta actually makes people question whether they will be banned.

No it's not bannable. If they disagree with your strat in chat it can be. Only in champ select they must disagree though. The team has to agree to it if they remain silent they can't complain. So if you were to silently do it and select and no one reacts or disagree it's not bannable.

Short answer: Not by default. You are allowed to play whatever you want. This does not mean you can't be banned for it however.

Long answer: It depends on whether you're seen as intentionally sabotaging your team. The ones who decide that are... well, the players. Of course the final verdict on whether you will be banned is in Riot's hands, but in order to even be considered for a ban requires players to report you, so you're basically at their mercy. The safest course is to seek approval of your teammates during champ selection (assuming it's Solo Queue). If at least 3 of your teammates agree, you have the green light to do so. If not, back down instead of pushing it.

You can do what you want, just dont write anything on chat.Sorka jungle with smite no problem you can do it, you will fall with lp but that cant be banned if you dont run down mid or flame.

I dont see in any rules that you MUST play adc+support bot mid mage/asassin ect.
