Some basic advice for people who are looking to climb out of low elo. I have been busy lately so I myself am not on a huge climb but, I have played the role for a while, and I made gold last season (still low elo but hey).

CS and trading. So to start off a big thing I notice when playing against some of you guys is you never come out big on cs. A lot of you guys think winning the game will be the result of you getting fed 10 minutes in. Well most likely you are pretty close in skill level compared to the person you are facing, so unless the jungler/mid laner lives bot don't expect to be getting a lot of kills. Focus on cs over trades. Sure when you see an ally minion low on hp trade that auto attack, but don't trade when it costs you cs.

Starting item. Another thing to remember is overall laning. Now this is going to be a small boards post so I can't describe the whole laning phase to you guys, but I will give you some basic information. To start off this is season 6, you have two, sometimes three choices for an item start. The main two are dorans blade and an hp pot. The second is cull and an hp pot. Now I never see the second one, but you should pick this up whenever you are laning against a passive lane, or you need a one item power spike (vayne bork). Lanes that are passive are ones that can't pressure you a lot during a gank or while farming. An example would be Kog' Maw-Janna this is a farm lane, and it is a safe one, take cull. Doran's Blade should be used in every other situation.

Warding and watching for ganks. During the laning phase you need to ward. I know you do it most of the time, but ward with knowledge. Usually your jungler will have similar clears as the enemy. If you know bot leashed and your jungler is on his buff, you can expect the enemy to be around the same point. If you see your jungler has already backed and is in the jungle, you can expect the enemy to be just as healthy and ready to gank. So when you know this, and the enemy bot lane has a sudden change in play style you should expect something is up.

Who to play. So basically cs'ing and playing safe will get you through the laning phase. Now I will give you some advice on who to play. Of course your best champion is the one you should play, but I am hoping that you are willing to expand your champion pool and play certain ones based on the game. I personally have a core-champion pool consisting of Kalista Vayne Lucian Quinn Tristana . It may not be the best for everybody but I like what I play. This pool has what I need to climb. I have Kalista who is really good at snowballing and laning safe. Lucian and Quinn, my favorite snowballers and mid game gods. Vayne for that hard carry, and slippery fighting. And lastly Tristana, shes one of my favorites. She has a lot of safety, and has a strong mid-late game.

Good luck. So these are just some few tips of mine. Hopefully you guys like them and they help improve your gameplay.
