Did the timers for kill streaks change?

You used to have a like (according to the wiki) 10 seconds between each kill, and 30 seconds for the final kill (for the penta). But playing ARAM, less than 10 seconds have pasted yet I've failed to get the penta. I've seen this happen with other kill streaks too. Is there a different timer in ARAM?
