Hi! I'm having a problem with laning, every single game, regardless of matchup i always end up losing the lane and fall behind and losing the game because if it, i usually play Camille but I can never win 1v1s against anyone, I can't trade because it always backfires on me and nothing works. I need help!
There isnt much advice I can give beyond champion knowledge. If you know what your opponent does to trade then you know how to beat it.
While I dont play camille at all, I can imagine you should stay near walls if possible so you can instantly respond with a stun and try to hit W on them whenever they go in to last hit, then from there you might be able to follow up with an E Q.
I think camille is generally weak in lane to bruises like Ren or Darius so it can be tricky.
Watch replays, VODs and streams of people playing Camille. That's what I did when I picked up Fiora for the first time.
Win lane?
Well, just pay attention to the wave. If one of your minions are low health, you might be able to sneak a free attack on the enemy because they can't attack you and the minion with an autoattack, they need to use a spell. If you have a larger wave, you have the advantage for trade. If you use Conqueror, then when its activated just go in. If you use something like Grasp, you poke. Whatever runes you're using, use it to your advantage. It helps to track the jungler so pay attention if the enemy top or bot reaches lane at the start of the game, then pay attention to where your jungler is at so you can sorta predict where the enemy jungler will be (if your jungler does red first and then goes blue, you can suspect the enemy jungler is on the other side of their jungle, for example). Also, try invading the enemy jungle if you have free roam time. You might sneak a kill in that way. That helps me get ahead in lane and it helps the team too.
I pay attention to the enemy's cd too. If they miss a spell, someone like Mordekaiser has long cd's at the start of the game. So I take the opportunity to go in on him. If the enemy's flash is down, it gives you an opportunity to all-in them.
Other than that, it all depends on level advantage, item advantage, cs advantage, base stats, etc.
I have nothing to say about Camille specifically. These are just general lane stuff I think about when playing top or mid.
