Snake Draft would increase pick diversity in pro play.

I've noticed that every time something that counters the meta pops up that instead of picking around teams just permaban it. This happened to Urgot for a brief period last year, it's happening to MF support at Worlds, and its happening to basically every single pro player who specializes in something that isn't traditionally meta. MF support could've made Zyra less "pick or ban", but since teams don't pay much for banning it, they'd rather just ban it instead of taking Zyra off the table and trying something different.

If you have something up your sleeve you only get to use it once before it gets permabanned, so why not just stick to the meta? Sure, League could probably use more bans, but having all of the bans before picks is hurting champion diversity even more than a lack of bans in pro play.
