@Riot You'd have less balance issues and complaints if you made the game more complex!

I understand easiness is a HUGE selling point of your game over DotA and Smite (yes, League is the EASY MODE of MOBAs, and you cannot argue when you compare them, at all) but seriously, you're losing your player base because of these balance issues, and even if it's not going down right now, the repeated balance issues and lack of care from rioters other than Repetoir and Meddler (the ONLY two I've seen interact in-depth about balance. I TRIED talking to FeralPony, but after I sent him a thread via his ask.fm, he flat out ignored me so I gave up)

Look at DotA, it has very few balance issues, and part of that is a heavier focus on their balance team with a lighter focus on content creation. (which is why I'm here rather than there, DotA gets stale cuz it doesn't change often enough. League changes too often and too drastically, but it keeps players invested longer this way) This focus results in a significantly better balanced, and honestly a lot more fun and healthy to play (pre-stale) and I think you guys could learn a lot from how they choose to balance.

With Riot and League, balancing doesn't happen during the LCS. It just doesn't happen during the main Worlds event, at all. DotA on the other hand, while they don't apply the patches to The Internationals (DotA's version of Worlds), they still give balance fixes to the general community while it's going on. On top of this, the complexity of the game and the multitude of ways to go about a single task makes the game more diverse and makes it healthier. There's an item that silences people AND increases damage taken. There's a hero DEDICATED to silencing people. There's an item that's similar to banshees (and banshees itself, basically, but thats a diff item) that, instead of deflecting the ability, it REFLECTS it, causing both the casting player and the casted-on player to receive the effects.

There's a multitude of items for each purpose you need and on top of that, the META is like Dominion, VERY fluid (build path, team comp, and lane comps are diverse af) and there are VERY few heroes that have a specific lane they HAVE to go. On top of this, the build paths are a LOT more diverse, and even with Enchantress, who has a typical build with a high build rate, can go in a multitude of different directions and work out fine, if not better in some cases. You really can't say the same about most adcs right now. Mages are even pretty restricted right now.

TL;DR: I know one of your main draws is being the easy mode of MOBAs, but please, make the game more diverse by adding new forms of CC, removing the META in it's current state (make it significantly looser), and adding a LOT more new items (and a LOT more active items) and your game will, despite the new content, be significantly easier to balance because everyone will have more, and more accessible, counterplay.
